Audy, Dan ; Večeř, Marek (referee) ; Leštinský, Pavel (advisor)
This work solves the use of stillage from ethanol production. Also solves processing into material DDGS and then solves the material and energy balance. This material and energy balance was calculated for 7070 kg of stillage per hour. The final energy requirements of the process were based on the amount of stillage produced to obtain 1 m3 of ethanol. The results of this work offer an insight to the problems of processing stillage. Thanks to conversion for 1 m3 of produced ethanol, results is also offerring the possibility of fast conversion of an approximate energy needed for devices of other capacities.

Rieger, Matyáš ; Klimeš, David (advisor) ; Halada, Jan (referee)
Private local brand promotion during "Third republic" period: Rudolf Poborsky's distillery Summary This thesis targets to explore how the uprising communist power impacted corporate communication. Although communists declared allowance of small business existence, they have destroyed it later. Communication investigation reveals hot topics of the era and - in this small local scale - entrepreneurs' approach. The case study of a family distillery delivers the story in a very human way and shows owners' personal journeys rather than deep analysis of the current political situation as such. The thesis aims to show how owner's attitude contributes to the communication with customers and in what situation these small businesses found themselves during Third republic. In this particular case; I aimed to generalize thesis' conclusions by demonstrating other businesses in the same field. I've performed the research using mainly own family's private archive, which contains a comprehensive collection of both company and private communication documents. I've used the books "Proměny české společnosti 1948-1960" by Karel Kaplan to support those historical parts and "Kapitalismus na kolenou" by Jakub Rákosník to explore economic situation of the period. Investigation proved these businessmen managed to embed their...
Pop-up: Aktivace nevyužívaných prostorů
Joja, Marie
Contemporary generation called “millenials” comes with a new lifestyle. Therefore market needs to adapt to it in order to keep up with current trends. The generation is provided with almost unlimited opportunities for their own realization. They spend most of their lives online, connected to social networks that determine cultural trends. Sharing experiences through blogs and posting photos is a new form of passing on experience. A difference between live experience and the one absorbed through social platforms is blurred. Enthusiasm for traveling and discovering new things does not match long-term planning and prefers short-term and temporary forms of operation. Therefore this lifestyle opens to pop-up trend. Pop-up is not one of new trends. Pop-up benefits from unlimited possibilities of newly arisen cultural scene as well as a number of abandoned and neglected places in the very centres of cities. Pop-up is a general term used with any form of business including gastronomy or cultural event which is strictly short-term. It profits from a moment of surprise, it offers an unexpected and unique experience “now and here”. In the US, the pop-up industry has a long tradition and there exist many servers that provide communication between owners of unused spaces and operators of temporary activities and this trend spreads among continents. Pop-ups abroad, a success of individual projects in the Czech Republic, the Czech pop-up cultural scene supported by a platform for communication and solving problems related not only to the legislative process are questions that will be analysed by this article.

Business Plan
Borská, Petra ; Srpová, Jitka (advisor) ; Hartman, Ladislav (referee)
The purpose of this Master's Thesis is to create the business plan of a distillery for gardeners in Slovakia. The plan will serve the potential future founder as a decision tool for approval or rejection of the business incentive, and as a tool for performance enhancement. In the first section of the thesis, I describe the theory behind trading of sole traders in Slovakia, and the methods for creating a business plan. The theoretical knowledge is applied in second section, which is the business plan of a distillery for gardeners. The plan describes all the vital parts of business: business and management, financial forecasts, markets and competitors, competitive business strategy, services and service supply. The findings of the business plan show that the business goal to achieve a twelve year payback period is possible, but there are many risk factors that can change this.
